The Outreach Academy

 

City of Chelmsford Mencap’s Outreach Academy provides lifelong learning to people aged 19+ who need extra support to learn and get the most out of life.  It helps students to develop their social, work and life skills and to maximise their wellbeing and independence.

 

The Service's highly trained staff, qualified tutors and dedicated volunteers support students to fulfil their potential.

 

Sessions run every weekday at our Centre in Mildmay Road, close to Chelmsford City centre.  Activities include:

 

• Active in the community and environment (ACE)

• Cooking

• Dance and movement

• Express yourself!

• Functional skills

• Make and Bake

• Music

• Social enterprise

• Yoga

• Zumba
